About Course

Learners will be able to

Understand the fundamental principles of semiconductor physics (e.g. energy bands, charge carriers, doping, conductivity, and mobility).
Apply the semiconductor physics knowledge to understand the operational principles of essential semiconductor devices (e.g. p-n junction diode, transistor).
Utilize the knowledge of semiconductor devices for the purpose of choosing appropriate devices to perform circuit operations – rectifiers, clippers, clampers and logic gates.
