<p>Learners will be able to</p><p>Understand the fundamental principles of semiconductor physics (e.g. energy bands, charge carriers, doping, conductivity, and mobility).<br />Apply the semiconductor physics knowledge to understand the operational principles of essential semiconductor devices (e.g. p-n junction diode, transistor).<br />Utilize the knowledge of semiconductor devices for the purpose of choosing appropriate devices to perform circuit operations - rectifiers, clippers, clampers and logic gates.</p>
